With North end Halifax getting more and more boutique-trendy maybe it isn’t such a coincidence that Bridget Quiqley, coming from Yale Town Vancouver, should end up at Filet Post Production on Almon Street. With a background specializing in commercials in post production from Rainmaker Entertainment and Tonic Post her new position at Filet as Post Production Coordinator is a perfect fit.
“On my first day of being here (at Filet) I already felt at home. Filet is a busy, top -notch, well organized shop anchored by the recognized talents of Jeff Fish and Cathy Brown. The thing about these two is they are unbelievably nice and made me feel like part of the family right away. That makes for a fantastic work environment. We’ve got something really special here at Filet, and I am very happy to be a part of it.”
The stylish office is relaxing , invigoratingly modern and a dream to do work in. “I wasn’t too sure what there might be here in Halifax since we moved for family ties but it’s quite clear that with the latest in equipment including HD capabilities, animation, graphics, and colour correction that this is a complete post facility from Rushes through to station dubs. Up to par with anything you might find in Toronto or Vancouver.!”
Bridget and her husband, Scott Owen who is an actor originally from Nova Scotia (X-Files and Outer Limits), wanted their three year old daughter to be close to family and live in a great community. “Mission accomplished” she says.
More on Bridget to come!
