storage (a.k.a Finder's Keepers)
For almost seven years, Filet Post has already been trusted with the valuable and sometimes irreplaceable footage used by their clients. And from the first day of operations Filet has meticulously catalogued, bar-coded and stored all materials brought here for the purpose of editing, graphics and duplication. All information from the tape labels (associated projects, agencies, production companies and other related personnel) has always been cross-referenced using Filet’s own custom database system. If the material has been removed from our facility a date-stamped checkout history has been created to aid clients in tracking these materials at a later date. Filet has always understood the essential importance of tape management. The results speak for themselves.

In addition, Filet can, on request, create an in-depth electronic/paper shot list based catalogues of your favourite tapes for a fast and easy reference catalogue when considering current and future project needs. We can also offer our advice on the consolidation of media, future proofing and the weeding out of unnecessary materials to help you save money. No exit fees. No re-shelving fees. All that is required is the signature of an authorized client on a waiver with Filet, contact information for billing and a designated authority for release or destruction of materials. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you further.
