Filet Post Production is Halifax’s premiere independent creative post facility specializing in high-end advertising and corporate marketing projects. Catherine Brown and Jeff Fish, the company’s partners, share 25 years experience in this industry. With a rich background in creative editing and graphics, the technical aspects of film & video, training in art and design and a passion for process and organization their experiential assets are unmatched. They also share a keen sense of client needs, wants and concerns. Cathy and Jeff (Jeff is usually referred to as “Fish”) are no “button pushers”. They actively collaborate with the agencies that hire them to explore and create a rich palette of options and ideas to bring the agency’s concepts and direction to life.
The company prides itself on being a full service facility with state of the art equipment, a High-Definition 15 seat screening theatre, two 2-D graphics suites, two uncompressed picture edit suites and a mastering/duplication room. Beyond “the gear” Filet strives to make people as comfortable as possible and provide an insular environment that allows teams to focus on the project at hand while offering access to services that help them to keep in touch with their colleagues and maintain a smooth workflow.
Recently celebrating their sixth anniversary in the Atlantic Canadian marketplace, Filet’s portfolio of work includes both broadcast and internal projects for Aliant, Nova Scotia Tourism, Tourism PEI, the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Eastlink Television & Internet, McCain, CO-OP Atlantic, Pizza Delight, NSCC, Baxter’s Dairy, Workmen’s Compensation Board, NSBI, N.B.
